In order to celebrate "May 12th" International Nurses' Day, uphold the selfless service spirit of Nightingale, promote the theory study and skill practice of nursing personnel, build harmonious nurse-patient relationship, increase success rate of emergency treatment, Shining Star Hospital, the First People's Hospital of Kunming, held Nursing Skill Competition and CPR Performance on 10th May. 

There are 15 teams from different department of the hospital participated in the competition. After over two hours of compete, the competition finally approached to the end. In the end, the Department of Rehabilitation won the first prize. Department of Outpatients and Emergency Call, Department of Ophthalmology & Otorhinolaryngology won second prize. Department of Anorectal, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Community Service Centre won third prize. 

After the competition, Zhang Ming, President of Shining Star Hospital summarized the competition. He fully affirmed the performance of all teams, and gave instructions on the difficult and key point during the operation. In the end, he delivered his congratulations and greetings to the teams and nurses of the hospital. 

The purpose of the performance and competition is to test on the situation of emergency treatment, increase the coordination between nurses. More importantly, it is a good opportunity to find the shortages and make improvements, so that all nurses could provide better medical service to patients.
